1. Who we are
Manna (“we”, “us”) operates the Manna mobile and web application that helps you donate the spare change from everyday purchases to the charity or church of your choice.
2. Information we collect
- Account info: email, name, phone number (when used for SMS verification).
- Financial data via Plaid: read-only transaction history, account names, masked numbers, and balances. We never receive or store your bank credentials.
- Donation activity: charity selections, round-up totals, donation history.
- Device & usage: IP address, user agent, session metrics for fraud prevention and analytics.
3. How we use your data
- Provide and operate the service (calculating round-ups, routing donations).
- Detect fraud and abuse, including MFA challenges.
- Send transactional and (optionally) marketing communications.
- Comply with legal and tax-reporting obligations.
4. Sharing
We share data with: Plaid (bank linking), Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS), our hosting and email infrastructure providers, and the charities you choose to donate to (donation totals only). We do not sell your personal data.
5. Your choices
You can export your data, disconnect your bank, or delete your account at any time from Settings.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Bank tokens are stored server-side only. We use bank-grade providers (Plaid, Stripe) for sensitive flows.
